All embroidered on felted wool with a linen backing. A flowered, metal button is the closure.<br /><br />I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them. No two are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design. There will be slight variations as I recreate this cuff. When you find one with a red center it is very unusual and folklore says that it is lucky. Queen Anne&#39;s Lace got its name when Queen Anne was working on her needlework, pricked her finger and a small drop of blood fell on the weed...thus Queen Anne&#39;s Lace. <br /><br />This necklace is very soft against the neckline. One single flower with a red center on hand-dyed felted wool. The back is lined with linen. I&#39;ve used an older crochet technique to create the necklace tube and crocheted small circles to imitate Queen Annes Lace flowers. There are three small flowers with a glass bead center. I&#39;ve attached the pendent with crochet flower loops in which the buttons on the pendent attach. Additional pendents will be available so that you can change them as you wish. The necklace closes with a simple button in the back.<br /><br />This is an original design. The hydrangea is such a beautiful flower whether it comes in blue, white, pink or even while it is still green and is multi-color.<br /><br />I have created this hand embroidered textile cuff of green and purple hydrangeas with silken green leaves. The cuff is felted wool lined with a lovely green and white linen created by Cicada Studios. I&#39;ve used a large, antique yellow button to close the cuff.<br /><br />I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them. No two are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design. <br /><br />By moving the button the cuff could be adjusted from 6.00 to 7.25 inches. When you find one with a red center it is very unusual and folklore says that it is lucky. Queen Anne&#39;s Lace got its name when Queen Anne was working on her needlework, pricked her finger and a small drop of blood fell on the weed...thus Queen Anne&#39;s Lace. <br /><br />Various sizes of Queen Anne&#39;s Lace flower heads including one lucky red centered flower. Hand dyed felted wool, lined with a beautiful, floral pink linen. Pink Silk embroidery thread with straight stitches and french knots comprise the flowers. The closure is made with a loop of wool, the same color as the cuff and I use vintage buttons from my collection to create the closure.<br /><br />I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them. No two are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design. There will be slight variations as I recreate this cuff.
