( a microwave, bar equipment or tv...could sit on the countertop area)   this could be easily switched out by just exchanging it with the first tongue and groove piece on the back... I will leave that detail up to you.<br /><br />PLEASE NOTE: the former owner decided to change the latches... there are currently no hardware ( pulls) on the doors and they could be converted into magnetized closures... or... other nice vintage closure hardware.  i have considered this in my pricing! also, the photos look as though there was water damage.  I have owned this for several years and NEVER noticed that until I was viewing the photos.  Surface issue and not throughout the wood( that i can tell) If you were whitewashing this one ... or re finishing... it would look great.  I have seen these beginning at 1295.00 and up!
