It is grouted in dark charcoal grey (not black).<br /><br />The piece measures 4.3&quot; (11cm) across and it is 1.8&quot; (4.5cm)high. I&#39;ve used a mix of hot pink, soft & medium pink acrylic mosaic tiles and these have been cut to fit. This has been grouted in white. The back and sides have been painted in white & varnished. I&#39;ve attached two stick on pieces of velcro on the back so it is ready to hang, all you need to do is take off the backing tape.<br /><br />It measures 3.1&quot; (8cm) across at the widest part and is 2.7&quot; (7cm) from top to bottom. The inner cut out heart is 1.7&quot; (4.5cm) across.<br /><br />A liquid sealer is applied to the finished piece therefore any &#39;cleaning&#39; required is by way of a dry/damp cloth or a light soapy wash.<br /><br />PLEASE NOTE: The heart I have ready for purchase is not the one shown in the photo. When these sit in the direct light they make very pretty reflections around the room.  It is grouted in white.<br /><br />The base object of this mosaic is a clay/terracotta vase. <br /><br />I varnished the inside and base of the vase.  Please note: I have specifically made this piece for decorative purposes only and I do not recommend water be kept in it for long periods of time.
